This is the connector type most commonly called "Molex" (actually Molex is a company that makes many connectors, but this one is what most people call a Molex), as found mainly on older IDE/SCSI hard drives, CD drives, and if we go really far back, 5.25" floppy drives.
ATX power supplies still have Molex plugs on them, so I thought these might come in handy for making a project you want to power inside your PC, perhaps lighting, fan, effects, I don't know what you cool kids do these days. Or simply for a tidy way to connect to an ATX Power supply on the bench for getting power.
I have two varieties, Vertical or Horizontal mount. You can see the vertical mount one is pretty simple, 4 pins on a 5.08mm pitch. The Horizontal mount one has again 4 pins on 5.08mm pitch but also some plastic tabs/catches for strength, you could cut them off of course to make the footprint easier, but much less strong.
For each item you buy, you can choose EITHER
# A 4 Pin Vertical "Molex" Type Socket; or
# A 4 Pin Horizontal "Molex" Type Socket
No specifications available.
I have a variety of PCB headers available, see my other PCB Header listings here:
