This is a typical plastic case piezo element, approx 24mm diameter, Approx 4.5mm thick. Has mounting "ears" for about 2mm screws, pitch of the holes about 29mm
Has some unknown connector type on it, just chop that off and solder the wires to something more useful for your purposes.
A piezo element can be used to produce a simple sound by applying a pulse-width-modulation at appropriate frequencies, by changing the PWM frequency, you change the frequency of the sound, in this way you can play simple melodies.
