Refund & Returns Policy

Faulty, Damaged, Missing, Unacceptable Quality

Simply Contact Us, if you received a product which was faulty, damaged, unacceptable quality, or your product didn't arrive at all.

We may require you to send a photo or video of the issue, and ask you to to be reasonable in working with us to help you to resolve the problem if possible. For lost-in-transit parcels there may be an investigation conducted by the carrier(s) and we ask you to be reasonable in cooperating and patient while that happens.

For quality complaints, these must be reasonable of course "this isn't quite the right shade of mauve" isn't a quality issue, "this drill bit is made from cheese" is.

Ultimately if the problem with the item can't be resolved, we will refund or replace the item, which action we take is at our discretion. We may ask you to return the problem item at our cost, ask you to destroy it, or may let you know that you can dispose of it as you wish.  Where a refund is issued, if the refund equates to the entire order it shall include shipping, if it relates to only part of an order it shall not include shipping.

Limitation of Liability In Respect Of Failure

We sell cheap components sourced from China, there is some risk you assume in that, for example if your RC Heli bites the dust because a cheapo chinese servo went all jittery like, we'll replace the servo, not the Heli.

It may be common for products that Gogo:Tronics sells to be built into projects in such a manner that the project or persons may be imperiled by failure. In such case it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure safety, evaluate and accept or minimise risks. Never rely on just one thing to protect people or property, single points of failure are never a good idea!

Errors In Description

If the item was incorrectly described please Contact Us right away, if the item is unsuitable for you due to this, then we can arrange a return or refund.

Where a refund is issued, if the refund equates to the entire order it shall include shipping, if it relates to only part of an order it shall not include shipping.

Changed Mind / Purchased Wrong Item

If the purchase has not yet been shipped, no problem, Contact Us. If the purchase has already been shipped we can only refund the product price (not shipping) once you return the product to us at your cost and it has been received and checked by us.

Returns of this type are only accepted if they are in functional as supplied condition and you must have contacted us no later than 14 days after the item was delivered.  We can only refund the product price itself not any shipping, return shipping is at your cost.

Consumer Guarantees Act (NZ)

The type of products that Gogo:Tronics sells, being components which you build into other devices, may not strictly fall under the auspices of the Consumer Guarantees Act (" of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic, or household use or consumption "), however Gogo:Tronics strives to "put it right" where the product sold is faulty, damaged in transit, or of subpar quality such that it is rejected by the customer.
