This is a pair (one spring, one dimple) of terminals for making your own battery cell holder, to your own specifications, however you want to do that.
They are a good size for cylindrical cells with a diameter from 14 to about 20mm, so that includes popular sizes such as AA, 18650, 19670, 16650, 16340, 14500, 14430, CR123A, CR2...
What you see is what you get here, actually mounting these into some sort of box, and indeed making some sort of box, is up to you.
Of course the design of whatever holder you come up with needs to mount the tab so that the nub/spring is along the axis of the cell.
Maybe you will 3d print, maybe you will put your wood working skills to use, maybe you will use acrylic, maybe you will mix up a batch of paste and do it old-school with the papier mâché for all I know. Got a 3d printer - try my AA cell box designs using these terminals... www.thingiverse.com
If you are using Lithium based cells, make sure you know what you are doing and take all appropriate safety precautions!
18650 size cells (and close relations) are often found in laptop battery packs, and Tesla Roadsters amongst other devices.
When a laptop pack dies, often (usually) just a couple of the cells are dead and you can very carefully take it apart and remove the good cells from it to put to work in other ways.
So if you have an old laptop battery pack, or a no longer required Tesla Roadster parked in the garage - you might have some use for a cell holder like this to make use of the old cells.
