This is a 4xAAA size battery holder, 4 AAA cells in series. It has a snap lid with screw for additional security (as in, security against accidentally opening) and a switch.
Unlike most all the other sellers, I actually include a screw, I don't know why others don't !
4 Alkaline AAA cells in series will give you from 6v full down to about 3.2v empty.
