This is a protection board for a 2S battery pack of Lithium Ion cells. It uses the HY2120CB protection chip.
It suits lower current applications where you will require 3-4A maximum continuous, peak up to about 6A, it trips out about 6.8-7A in my testing. The mosfets on it do get quite hot especially above 4A, I’d be careful about where you mount it if you are going to approach that sort of current continuously.
This board will disconnect the battery from discharging when the discharge current exceeds roughly 7 Amps, or when either cell drops below about 2.7V.
Similarly it will disconnect the battery from charging when the voltage of either cell exceeds roughly 4.3v.
This is NOT a charging board, repeat, this is NOT a charging board, you need to use an appropriate CC+CV charger to batteries packs, this handles protection, a properly designed system should not trigger the protection circuit.
I'm not going to tell you how to use this, if you are buying this, you already know what you are doing, or you shouldn't be playing with fire. Never rely on just one thing to protect you, others, or your things, always have a backup plan.
P+/- are for the load/charger, B+ is the most positive, B- is the most negative and BM is the midpoint of the 2 cells.
