This is a small DC-DC Converter, Boost Mode (Step Up) with 3 to 5v input voltage from either wires you can solder on, or a convenient micro-usb plug (remember the micro USB is for power INPUT not OUTPUT).

The board measures approx 30x17x14mm

• Best Efficiency: 93% (depends on input, output, and load)

From my experiments, I would keep continuous output current below 6W output maximum (that’s Output Volts * Output Amps should be no more than 6), plus the limits above,

As shown in the image depicting test results I've tested with input voltages of 3.7v (ie, the nominal voltage of a Lithium Ion cell) and 5v (ie the nominal voltage of a USB power supply) and outputs voltages from 5 up to 24v in various configurations.

Might be useful for boosting to an adjustable voltage particularly from Lithium Ion cells, just do take note that it doesn't give you any cell protection, be sure to protect your Lithium Ion cells with a protection board if necessary!
