This is self adhesive colour film, each sheet is no less than 10cm x 10cm, you choose:
7-segment LED displays commonly used on voltmeters are bright but can be quite washed-out especially under strong lighting, applying a layer or two of this tint and shade film helps to increase the visibility of such displays.
I recommend getting the 4-pack as you will want to try different combinations of film, usually you want at least the shade layer and maybe also a colour layer as well for best results.
The example usage photos are pretty representative of the improvement (taken in my rather bright photo lightbox).
In all those samples, both voltmeters are on, the left is without any filters, the right is with one or two colour layers and a shade layer.
Experiment with using one or multiple layers, just the colour, or the colour plus the shade, your milage may vary!
Note that the film might look “crinkled”, don’t worry that is just the two clear protective covers on it, one is just protective for manufacture, and the other side covers the adhesive, the coloured film itself should go on smooth.
Take two small pieces of sticky tape, put one on each side of a corner of your cut piece of film you want to apply, and pull them apart, the protective layer will remove first,,then do the same trick again and the other side will come away to reveal the stickyness for you to, err, stick it down.
Now just smooth it on down moving from end to the other to avoiding air bubbles.
