This is a mini voltmeter (volt meter), in beautiful blue :)
Measures from 3 to 30v with one decimal place (100mV) resolution, under 10v the value is zero-prefixed (eg 3.2v reads as “03.2”), why they thought that looked good I don’t know but there you go.
This is a 2 wire device, red to positive, black to negative, do not reverse the polarity.
Current consumption 9-15mA
Please note the mounting hole tabs and wire entry locations may vary from that pictured (depends on the supplier the current batch comes from), if you want to know the exact mounting hole/wire positions please ask a question. The display size itself is always the same.
This display would be good for battery powered devices, lipo (lithium polymer), li-ion (lithium ion) etc, amongst many other uses.
The display on these boards is just 2.3cm by 1.5cm. Tiny, but very bright and easy to read.
Taking pictures of bright led displays is tricky, it looks better in real life!
STOP! If you are using the readout of voltmeters to make decisions about powering up expensive sensitive things, VERIFY YOUR SETUP AND THE VALUES REPORTED WITH A MULTIMETER, haste makes waste.
