Supplied as Stainless Steel, but they are from China and I'm not a metalerg..metaluhr...metalero... expert in metals so don't rely on that.
M3 Nuts are 5.5mm across the flats (+/- about 0.1mm), so that means use a 5.5mm spanner or 5.5mm socket. It is highly advised to actually measure your spanner/socket with a pair of calipers, I have seen 5.5mm spanners which are actually 6mm diameter due to really poor tolerances in chinese spanner manufacturers, a too wide spanner will give you a bad time.
