Solenoid Door Lock (Cupboard Door Size)

This is a solenoid door lock, a small one for cupboards, not a big one for front doors )

Will pull from about 9v DC, supposedly rated at 12v DC.  Around 300mA at 9v, 500mA at 12v.

Normally extended (that is, apply power to retract the latch).

This is not a security item. If somebody wants to get into your cupboard, they are going to get into your cupboard I'm sure latch or no latch, but if you want to play with making an arduino powered solenoid locking rfid code thing for fun, well, there you go.

Base footprint is approx 27mm x 28.6mm, Height is approx 17.5mm

Retracted the latch is approx 2mm proud of the face, extended the latch is approx 6mm proud of the face. So a stroke length of approx 4mm.
