These regulators, have a very low Quiescent Current, that means they do not take much current to run themselves. The downside is they can not supply that much current either, but perfect if your device is a low power battery operated thingamee.

In short, they have a Quiescent Current (that is, with no load this is how much they still burn) of around 5 microamps (not milliamps, MICRO amps).
HT7550-1 – 5v output, 100mA maximum output, 12v maximum input.
HT7333 – 3v output, 250mA maximum output, 12v maximum input
Output current is subject to thermals, the maximum input voltage in datasheets is higher but I’m being conservative here because these are china sourced chips – if you are going to exceed 12v input, best test!

Again these regulators are sourced from your typical random Chinese marketplace vendor, take datasheets with a pinch of salt (well, take datasheets with a pinch of salt from any manufacturer’s marketing department, but especially when the parts came from China marketplace vendors).
