This is a buck mode LED driver for series strings of 1W LEDs.

In short, give 12 Volts at the input pins, you can power up to three 1W LEDs in series.

Absolute maximum voltage is 24v, and you can go down to 7v input if you use less leds. Note that the capacitor is 25v rated, so you might want to change that for a 50v rated one if you will use 24v or close to.

You can also supply 12V AC (eg from an MR16 lighting type supply).

THIS IS NOT A MAINS POWER DEVICE, low voltage only.

* This is buck mode - input voltage must be higher than the total forward voltage of the leds, plus a bit extra. 1 LED = 7v min input, 3 LEDs = 12v min input

The output is around 300mA constant current.

Exact PCB layout, driver IC, and wire colour varies batch to batch.

The input is the 2 pins, these are made to plug into MR16 sockets, but you can simply desolder them and use wires, input polarity does not matter.

The red wire is output positive, the white/black output negative.

Between one and three 1W LED is recommended at 12v input, however you can probably drive up to 5 LEDs on 24v.
