This is a buck mode (step down) LED driver for series strings of 1W or 3W LEDs with a wide 12 to 85v input voltage range.
This batch has a pecular “sweet spot” in the input voltage where the output current increases to 400mA, this spot varies by number of LEDs, and so I recommend to have the input voltage at least 4.3x the number of LEDs (eg 3 LEDs at least 13v input) in order to avoid the sweet spot and keep output current to the 280-300mA range and a consistent light output.
The best number of LEDs is 3, input 13-85v will give you about 280-300mA through them.
Absolute maximum input voltage is 85v DC, operation below 12v not recommended.
The input voltage should be higher than about 4.3 times the number of leds, or 12v whichever is greater.
THIS IS NOT A MAINS POWER DEVICE, DC POWER ONLY
Input and output are solder pads, solder wires to them. Inputs are marked "V+" and "V-". Outputs are marked LED+ and LED-, these are polarised of course.
I have no idea what the driver IC is on this one, some random chinese device I suppose.
