These mounting plates accept a single 1 to 3 Watt LED.
You get 3 for just $1.50, a perfect number, because I also sell 1 to 3 watt leds in sets of 3 )
You MIGHT get away with using this as the sole heatsink for a 1W, but I would really advise attaching to something metal that can get rid of some more of the heat. Heatsink tape will do the trick - see my other listings for it, put tape on the back, and then stick it to something metal. Also a small piece of heatsink tape (or compound) between the center pad of the PCB and LED itself is a good idea!
