This is a job lot of LEDs, one lot only, I purchased them unsoldered by mistake years ago and never got around to soldering them up.
40 RGB leds and 40 mounting plates.
The price is for everything in the picture
Each RGB led has 3 "die" in a single package, each die rated for around 300mA current, each die has it's own independent anode and cathode(red on the left, green in the middle, blue on the right).
DO NOT LOOK DIRECTLY AT THE LED, THESE ARE FREAKING BRIGHT
You WILL need to heatsink these to something (not necessarily an actual heatsink), they generate a lot of heat if you are running them flat out. Please note, that the mounting plate they are pre-soldered to is NOT a sufficient heatsink despite what other sellers would tell you, you MUST attach the plate to something as a heatsink. My heatsink tape is perfect for doing that, cut, peel, and stick, job done.
And don't forget to limit the current or you'll have 3 dead led dies on your hands.
Remember how diodes work, you can't connect different leds directly in parallel, each must have their own current limiting, otherwise one will win for a brief moment and the others won't work, until the winner burns out!
