This is a job lot of LEDs, one lot only, I purchased them unsoldered by mistake years ago and never got around to soldering them up.
40 RGB leds and 40 mounting plates.

Each RGB led has 3 "die" in a single package, each die rated for around 300mA current, each die has it's own independent anode and cathode(red on the left, green in the middle, blue on the right), pre-soldered to a "star" form mounting plate.
DO NOT LOOK DIRECTLY AT THE LED, THESE ARE FREAKING BRIGHT
You WILL need to heatsink these to something (not necessarily an actual heatsink), they generate a lot of heat if you are running them flat out. Please note, that the mounting plate they are pre-soldered to is NOT a sufficient heatsink despite what other sellers would tell you, you MUST attach the plate to something as a heatsink. My heatsink tape is perfect for doing that, cut, peel, and stick, job done.
And don't forget to limit the current or you'll have 3 dead led dies on your hands.
Remember how diodes work, you can't connect different leds directly in parallel, each must have their own current limiting, otherwise one will win for a brief moment and the others won't work, until the winner burns out!
