These mounting plates accept 3x 1 to 3 watt LEDs, a perfect number, because I also sell 1 to 3 watt leds in sets of 3 )
LEDs are not included, this is a bare plate, but I sell a variety of 1 to 3 Watt LEDS that you can solder on.
3 LEDs on a single small mounting plate really means you do have to have this fixed to something acting as a larger heatsink at least if you are going to be running them full on for any reasonable period of time.
Heatsink tape will do the trick, put tape on the back, and then stick it to something metal. Also a small piece of heatsink tape (or compound) between the center pad of the PCB and LED itself is a good idea!
