This is a small hobby DC motor in a rectangular box with a plastic gearset giving an i believe 94:1 reduction (94 motor RPM = 1 shaft RPM, a lot of the seller seem to call this 1:94, I think that's backwards isn't it?).
The shaft is hexagonal, 2.7mm across the flats, 3mm across the points.
The shaft can be shifted left/right as necessary, it's not affixed to the gears by anything more than it's profile. Total axle length approx 8cm.
The motor is specified at DC 1.5v to 6v.
Given the plastic gearing I don't know how much punishment it would put up with, but supposedly it can produce torque of 1.5 kg-cm - I have not tested this!
