This is an Arduino Compatible Pro Mini, with an ATMega 328P (5v, 16Mhz).
The Pro Mini is a small device, completely compatible with Arduino, perfect for hard wiring in to your project, the difference between a Pro-Mini and a Nano, aside from the different pinout, is that the Pro-Mini does not include USB-Serial, you will need a CP2102 (or other) USB-Serial adapter, such as these CP2102 serial adaptors I sell
The bottom of a Pro-Mini has no components on it so you can easily double-stick-tape it to things, which is another advantage if you’re quickly chucking things in a bodged up enclosure.
My serial adaptors and Pro-Minis have handily marked orientation pins “Grn” and “Blk” on both the Pro-Mini and adaptor so just match them up and away you go. If you use adaptors from a different source be sure to check their pinout!
