This is an Arduino Development Environment Compatible Nano (5v, 16Mhz).
The Nano is a teency weency micro controller board, barely larger than a DIP chip.
USB connectivity is provided by the CH341, drivers available for Windows, Mac and Linux. You'll need a Mini-B cable, not included, see my other listings though.

Once you have the drivers installed simply choose in the Arduino IDE the following settings
Tools > Boards > Arduino AVR Boards > Arduino Nano
Tools > Processor > ATmega328P (Old Bootloader)
All the usual Arduino features are there, including the extra A6 and A7 Analog Input pins, leds are present on TX, RX, Power, and of course the standard user controllable LED.
This Nano is completely compatible with Arduino IDE, perfect for hard wiring in to your project, at this price just leave it there for posterity!
For information about Arduino and to download the Arduino development software see arduino.cc
This batch of boards has newer 328PB chips. The bootloader makes them pretend to be 328P when you are uploading over the normal USB connection so that it is seamless for normal users of the IDE uploading over USB. If you upload using a programmer (eg usbasp) or replace the bootloader, you would need to use a different “core” that specifically supports ATmega328PB like MicroCore.
Again, if you are just uploading over USB like normal, you don’t need to worry, just treat it like a normal Nano.
This nano uses the CH341. Ubuntu 22.04 was fine, ancient Ubuntu 14.04 notsomuch.
