This board allows you to plug in an Arduino Nano compatible board, and breaks out all the pins into convenient headers, as well as providing a DC power socket (no more than 12v, 9v recomended), and further unpopulated holes in the same footprint as an Arduino UNO in case you have some UNO shield you want to use with a Nano.
Arduino Nano is not included, you can purchase separately here.
Take care to plug the Nano in the correct orientation, the USB connector is generally on the end close to the DC barrel jack, check the bottom of the board for silkscreen markings, and the silkscreen markings on your Nano, to confirm.
Do not connect more than 12v to the DC barrel jack, it powers the VIn pin of the Nano.
