This is a module containing the MPU-6050 sensor, which incorporates a 3 axis accelerometer plus a 3 axis gyroscope.
Ok, here's the thing, if you are looking at this, you probably already know what it is, and how you are going to use it. And if you don't, well, it's not just a stroll in the park, getting raw data out of it is easy, actually using that raw data, knowing how to use it, to achieve what you want, probably another thing all together.
I think the most common use for this type of doo-dad would be as part of an IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit), commonly FreeIMU, combined with a Magnetometer (Compass).
I can't supply my usual style of "super crazy simple library" for this module, because, well, it's just not simple. It's pretty much several thousand feet over my head (figuratively, for now).
