The ubiquitous DFPlayer Mini, the most common used MP3 player module for use with Arduino, or stand-alone via buttons.
I could go into all the details about this, but chances are you already know you need one, here are the basic specs though
Input Voltage: 5v (3.2-5v)
Control: Arduino library (serial TX/RX) or external Adkey buttons or external direct buttons
Here is a minimal Arduino example using the Arduino library above, it includes the connection information.
Speaker output: direct drive a mono 8 ohm 3W, or stereo Line output for use with an external amplifier
Complete details can be found on the DF Robot Wiki (PDF capture 11/8/2023)
NB: There are a number of variants of the DFPlayer Mini out of China, if you care specifically which variant (playing chip) then best contact me, it might change from time to time depending on what I get sent!
