This is a module containing an I2C DS3231 Real Time Clock, AT24C32 I2C EEPROM.
Battery is optional and not included, you can use a standard CR2032 battery to keep the clock running when the board is powered off.
I have written a very simple to use Arduino LIbrary to make using this module very easy indeed: DS3231_Simple
Using my library you can:
Set the time/date
Read the time/date
Set up to 2 alarms (one at seconds precision, one at minutes)
Read the temperature with up to 0.25 Degree precision
Write arbitrary data in log entries to the EEPROM together with the timestamp.
Read said log entries.
The logging works as a "circular buffer", so if it fills up it over-writes older entries, and extends the lifetime of the EEPROM.
Note: These boards have been modified to disable battery charging so you can use a standard CR2032 battery in them for battery backup.
All of our products are shipped from Christchurch, New Zealand using CourierPost for NZ, and Airmail for international.
