Log pots are good for audio and lighting applications as our hearing and light sensitivity tend to be more logarithmic than linear. Sometimes Log pots are called Audio Taper.
I have the following value(s) available, you must tell me which value you want, if you buy more than 1, you can mix-and-match.
Tolerance (of the end-end resistance is unknown but seems to be about 5-10%, which is fairly typical for potentiometers.
To help with the searching, I'll note that you can use a potentiometer as a variable resistor, just ignore one of the outer legs, or connect the disused one to the middle leg is better. Variable resistors are sometimes called a rheostat, but that's really for high power stuff, not a little volume-control type pot.
