This is a so-called “hand-sweep” sensor.
Supply it bewtween 5 and 24v DC input, and it will put that same input onto the output pins controlled by your hand.

This sensor has multiple modes, the default mode is “light slowly”.
You select modes by joining some solder pads, be warned these solder pads are tiny and awkward to solder. If you don’t have much experience soldering tiny things that you probably need magnification for, forget about it.

The maximum sensor distance is about 8cm
Perhaps the most obvious use for this sort of thing would be to turn on under-bench LEDs or something, just sweep your hand across to turn it on, sweep across to turn off.
