This is the MAX6675 K-Type thermocouple reader (thermocouple itself not included).
This batch has not had the connectors soldered on, you’ll have to do that yourself – yes the terminal block does fit, have faith, it will go through the holes!
A really super simple device, perfect for reading a K-Type thermocouple temperature sensor with your Arduino, I mean it, this is crazy easy to use, so simple it's not even worth me writing a library, instead here's the example code, there's more comments than code!
You can see you can just call the readThermocouple() function to get the temperature in degrees C, simple as that.
Requires 3 pins of your Arduino, there's no specific requirements on which pins you use, but in my code I've set it for 10, 12 and 13, you can change them if you like.
Works fine at 5v.
