This listing is for a pair of multimeter probes, one black, one red.
But these probes are not just your typical set of cheap probes, these are Silicone, the feeling, softness, supreme flexibility of the wires, is really something to behold.
Category II, 1000V, 20A
Amazingly for such flexible wires they still have a really thick insulation – the 20AWG wires on these probes are 3.5mm diameter, that’s more than twice the diameter of normal 20AWG wire, and yet they are still soooooo flexible, it’s almost like spaghetti.
Being silicone wires, these are resistant to both very cold and very hot temperatures, it won’t melt against your soldering iron, or be hopeless and stiff like PVC below freezing, working on a tractor in the middle of winter outdoors in Ranfurly, yeah these are the ones you want probably, minus 20 degrees C no trouble.
Beware of other sellers out there who may say their probes are silicone, but they aren’t, if you pick up a pair of silicone wire probes like this you will immediately notice the difference to normal PVC wires, it’s just totally different (besides silicone not melting if your soldering iron touches it like PVC will).
