This is a dial indicator, lug back with 6mm mounting hole, sourced from China and at this price it's of course not going to be a crazy metrology grade doo-dad, but it's more than good enough for most purposes - like levelling your 3d printer bed for example.
Please note may or may not have a retail box, depends on what I get sent, however these sensitive devices are always shipped to you with good protection against typical courier driver "handling"!
Each turn of the dial is 1mm, the dial is marked in 0.01mm increments.
Total travel of the plunger is 10mm, giving 10 turns of the large indicator.
The small hand turns once per 10mm.
The bezel rotates so you can set the home position for easier reading, and has a simple thumb screw to lock it.
The small dial is not adjustable - you'd typically set up your indicator positioning so that the plunger is half depressed (small hand on the 5) at the desired extension, that way you have 5mm of travel in either direction before bottoming/topping out.
