This crimping tool is suitable for crimping a wide range of non-insulated "open barrel" crimping terminals commonly found in electronics.
This ( IWS-2820 ) is the best manual set of crimpers I have found, you need to crimp in two steps (the wire clamp and the insulation clamp) but once you have got the hang and picked the right slot for your crimp terminal and wire combination it produces a really really nice job.
Do not waste your time and money on ratchet syle crimp pliers from China, they are awkward and do a poor job, you might think that a fancy mechanism is better, it’s not, these manual crimping pliers are easy to use and produce a much more reliable result IMHO.
Andreas Spiess (the guy with the swiss accent) recommends this same crimp tool in the video below.
Especially, this tool can be used to crimp (amongst others, these are just the ones I have personally tried):
Crimping electronics connectors does take a little practice, but once you get the hang of it you'll be able to knock together custom cables for your projects.

If you prefer to buy pre-crimped wires, just check my other listings, I have a reasonable selection!
