These are small sleeves sleeves made from… something, probably copper plated with nickel, might be just nickel, I can’t be sure. They are conductive, and solderable, and crimpable.
Usually these are used for crimping fishing lures, but I have them because they seem to be about the perfect size for terminating Nichrome or Kanthal wire, or rather joining the Nichrome Kanthal to another wire (preferably silicone of course for the temperature resistance).
Of course you can use normal crimp connectors with such wire, but they are really bulky and probably inconvenient, a small copper sleeve like this is barely bigger than the wire itself.
I have them in the following sizes, choose the size you want from the options (if you can’t see the options, ask):
Just crimp them with some short pliers, insert one wire, crimp that end, insert other wire, crimp that end, and then mash down the whole lot.
Solder will readily stick to the sleeve outer if you really wanted to, but bear in mind that the whole point of Nichrome / Kanthal is to get hot, so… yeah maybe not such a super idea.
