The most common variety of DC power sockets (barrel jack/barrel socket), 5.5mm hole with 2.1mm center (5.5x2.1).
This socket uses push-fit umm. what you call them, barbs, not really barbs, sprung flanges, eh, the little springing pieces of plastic on the sides. So you push the socket into your hole and don’t need to fiddle about with a nut on the back-side.
You will want about a 12mm hole and your panel thickness should be 1mm or less.
Three contacts, Center (usually use as positive), Outer (usually use as negative) and the optional pass through which connects to the Outer pin when there is no plug installed (that is, it disconnects when plug is inserted, for battery disconnect).
