A bit of a rare item but looks like it would be quite useful if you want to break out power, ground and signal to a bunch of pins (eg for analog sensors, digital inputs, potentiometers,servos that sort of thing)
3 pole dupont connectors would be a good mate for these.
NB: Photo might look like gold plated - that’s just the lighting, they are standard headers, nickel plated copper I expect by the very weak magnetic response.
