This is a pack of 4 pogo pins or pogo sockets. I have the following packs available…
Pogo pins are tiny sprung conductive pins, that (unsurprisingly) resemble a miniature pogo stick. Typically used for making test jigs for your electronics.
Pogo sockets allow you to plug in pogo pins so they can be replaced, or removed for a reconfigurable jig. You don’t have to use sockets with pins, you can solder directly to the pins if you want but sockets can make the job easier.
Pins have 1.02mm OD, sockets have 1.32mm OD with 1.45mm OD rib.
B1 pin has a narrow straight pointed head good for locating directly onto a test pad or SMD component pin (OD of head is 0.74mm)
A2 pin has a concave head, this makes them ideal for locating on to soldered and trimmed leg of a through hole component on the bottom of your PCB, or down onto the top of a pin header.
LM2 has a larger pointed head for when you are locating into a plated hole (OD of head is 1.3mm)
Pins have 1.36mm OD, sockets have 1.67mm OD with 1.83mm OD rib
B1 pin has a straight pointed head good for locating onto a test pad or into a plated hole (OD of the head is 1.0mm)
