There are 3 sizes of alligator clips commonly found, these ones are the medium size, with sheath removed they measure 35mm from tip to longest point, 28mm from tip to lever top, and the jaw opens 10mm at the tips.
Don't buy pre-made test leads with small clips, I've been there and done that, the wire on pre made leads is, well, not brilliant, you'll kick yourself after spending a couple of hours trying to work out why something's not going right only to discover your test leads have a resistance of 10 Ohms, or are completely open circuit.
