This is a surface mount device, note that these are Micro-B the pin pitch is pretty tight if you're hand soldering (or etching your own PCB, it's getting down to the need-a-factory-made-board levels here), a very fine iron tip, flux, a steady hand, and probably some magnification may be necessary.
